Coaching for Women Executives Invest in You

Women face a variety of unique challenges in the business world. Although the number of women in the work force has risen to just under 50%, it is still difficult for women to get promoted and paid at the same level as men. Today only a small percentage of women hold high-ranking positions. And four in ten businesses worldwide have no women in senior management. Additionally, research has found that the more education a woman has, the greater the disparity in her wages. Women in professional specialty occupations were found to earn just 72.7% of what men in the same position earned, and women in upper level executive, administrative and managerial occupations earned even less at 72.3%.

Coaching can help women build their careers with the confidence and perspective they need to get ahead. Perhaps you are a working mother who feels squeezed between her work and family commitments and are looking for greater efficiency and transparency. Or you can't seem to break through to the next level of management and are looking for a way to make your talents shine. Everyone's situation is unique, and coaching can help bring out the uniqueness in you.

The coaching process will focus on clarifying your goals and then creating strategies and actions to make them come to fruition. We will also identify obstacles that may impede your success. You can also work toward life balance and managing personal and family matters while you revamp your career path.

As we began working together I knew right away Liz's coaching skills were going to help me be a better manager and to make decisions that were right for me and for the business. But what I didn’t realize was that through Liz's coaching calls, Liz was going to be able to identify and solve so many of the home/life challenges that a working mom faces. One of the best pieces of advice Liz had given me is to relinquish the guilt I felt for being a working mom and away from my kids and instead embrace my choice as the right thing for me and for my family. Liz said that if I was proud to be a working mom and confident it was the right path for my family, then my children would also interpret my choice to work in the same way – with pride and confidence.

I thank Liz for all of her wonderful advice and coaching. I continue to be amazed at Liz's perspective and ability to identify and solve problems. I look forward to working with Liz this year as I move forward with my career and family. - Georgia, First Vice President - Investments
