Laura Caban is an integral part of the LBA team as she is involved in most areas of the business. She is driven by her dedication to helping others and her love for learning.
Her interest in human behavior developed while she was pursuing her BA in Psychology at Lehigh University. During that time, she worked as a research assistant and was fascinated by the effect mindset can have on behavior. She also participated in student organizations with a focus on humanitarian projects.
Laura was then accepted into the NYC Teaching Fellows program and began teaching in the NYC Public School system. She earned her MS in Secondary Education from Pace University. After 5 years teaching at the middle school level, she joined her principal and a select few colleagues in opening a new high school in Queens, where she served as department chairperson, teacher and distance-learning director.
In 2015 she joined the team at LBA. Her current role is multi-faceted as Laura is committed to continuously improving operations and client experience. In addition to coordinating schedules and travel, she identifies and implements productivity-enhancing systems, contributes to the development of our services, and provides critical support to the coaches and team. She is equally instrumental in leading our marketing efforts and managing our blog, “The TrendSpotter."
